Connecting Apprenticeships to the Young People Who Need Them Most

Philadelphia’s District 1199C Training and Upgrading Fund has found the relatively new approach of apprenticeships in the health and human services sector to be an effective way for employers to grow their own internal talent pipeline or find new populations— especially those out of school—to replace the baby boomers who are aging out of the workforce.
