STEAM Scholars

The District 1199C Training & Upgrading Fund has received funding from the US Department of Health and Human Services, to develop the STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) Scholars Program.This 5-year project strives to develop a replicable and scalable pipeline program model that increases the success of minority students through high school science and math classes and into post-secondary programs of study preparing them for careers in healthcare, technology and the sciences.

Temple Cares

Bridge to Employment is a workforce development program that provides professional development, industry recognized credentials, and paid work experiences to North Philadelphia youth ages 17-21 that are interested in entering the health care industry.
