BECOME AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)

Classes held at 1199C Training Fund 

1199C Union Member and Community Classes beginning January 2021

1199C Union Member Class  Community Program

Entrance Requirements:

  • Must be an 1199C Union Member with the Training Fund Benefit
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be able to write and read and speak English; Bi-lingual a plus
  • Complete a timed reading and math placement test assessment
  • Able to participate in either online or face-to-face classes
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Must be able to commit to the program
  • Willing to participate in entrance interviews
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check, child abuse clearances and drug test
